One of the most significant components of modern steel production is the Ladle Turret Weighing System. It's where the steel teeming ladles, which can weigh up to 300 tonnes, are kept. The steel teeming ladles are alternately slewed into pouring and charging positions by the ladle turret.
On one side, a full ladle is delivered while the other is being emptied. The weighing mechanism inside the turret provides for exact control of the level of liquid steel in the ladle. Weigh the ladle in both the cast and load positions with the caster turret arm ladle weighing systems. Existing arms with high temperature load cell weigh modules can be fitted with scales.
Our turret scales are built to endure severe impact and shock loads, and our high temperature load cells are well-suited for use in turret applications with wired and wireless interconnection.
