Wagon Tippler Weighing System

The Wagon Tippler Weighing System is designed to weigh loose bulk materials delivered by open-top rail waggons, such as coal and iron ore. The Weighing System is built to last, with a solid design that ensures effective performance for a long time. The system is capable of weighing up to 150 tonnes of material. Wagon Tippler Weighing System with signal interlocks and data communication can be combined with waggon tippler control system.

Wagon Tipplers are used to empty bulk-carrying waggons by tilting them along a pivoting axis above rail level. Lump iron ore, iron ore fines, pellets, quartzite, limestone, minerals, and other materials can all be processed. The above rail level pivoted side discharging tippler design enables ‘low-level” foundation work, less excavation and reduced civil-works which is the best solution for sites with high groundwater problems.
